"Tree Object" Santiago - 2007
An acrylic cube with spy glass on the top section. It was installed over a hole of the same width, 2 meters deep, in which a tree was installed. The top of the tree sticks out approximately 5 centimeters through a small hole in the glass. When the spectator comes close, the movement sensor momentarily activates green lights from the inside of the cube.
Un cubo de acrílico con la base superior de vidrio espía. El cubo fue ubicado justo sobre un agujero del mismo ancho y de dos metros de profundidad en donde se instaló un árbol. La copa de este sale 5 cm. por un pequeño agujero del vidrio. Una vez que el espectador se acerca, el sensor de movimiento activa unos segundos una luz en el interior del volumen convirtiéndolo así en un cuerpo translucido.
